Brewers & Brews

The 5th Annual Snowmass Chili Pepper & Brew Fest, held Friday through Sunday, June 6-8, 2008 is one of the hottest events of the summer. Last year’s Chili Pepper & Brew Fest kicked off the Aspen/Snowmass summer with a bang, hosting 35 plus Breweries from around the country. Taking place in the breathtaking Colorado mountain resort of Snowmass Village, the festival celebrates renowned music acts, the uniqueness of the illustrious Chili Pepper and Spirited Brews!

Guests from Colorado and surrounding states will head to Snowmass for International Chili Society (ICS)-sanctioned and Locals chili cook-offs. A Vendor Village will offer unique crafts, food, and chili pepper-themed items for sale. Each day delivers live concerts, including past popular performers Ziggy Marley, David Grisman Quintet, Michael Franti & Spearhead, Medeski, Martin, & Wood, Jonny Lang and more.

But, one of the biggest highlights of the event is always the Brew Fest!

What Is The Brew Fest?
Top microbreweries from all over the country are invited to compete for various honors in the "Best Summer Ale Brew Fest 2008."  Friday features a professionally judged competition for participating brewers to showcase their seasonal summer brews while festival-goers savor the spirited results.  The main events are the Seasonal Brews Sampling on Friday from 5:00-7:00pm and the Grand Beer Tasting on Saturday from 2:30-5:00pm, creating high energy as brews flow freely and popular headliners rock Pepper Hill.
